EthosEnergy wins $3m Island Energy Services contract

AI Summary

EthosEnergy has been awarded a contract worth around $3m by Island Energy Services for a five year Long Term Service Agreement at their plant in Kapolei, Hawaii.

The contract includes preventative maintenance, parts supply, remote monitoring and exchanges for four Centaur 40 generator packages.

Stu Dixon from Island Energy Services said, “EthosEnergy’s ability to find a solution that would allow us to eliminate unnecessary down could potentially save millions of dollars in the long term.

“By being able to supply us with a new driver without a complete package upgrade, EthosEnergy allowed us to be back up and running in less than a week after one of our engines shut down.”

Scott Jessiman, Managing Director of Light Turbines at EthosEnergy said, “In order to get Island Energy Services back online as quickly as possible we sourced a driver from our extensive inventory and sent a field service engineer out to Hawaii to fit the part all within a week.

“Our ability to keep the Kapolei plant running on PLC controls means that they are likely to save around 1-2 million dollars within the next few years, with the added benefit of saving unnecessary down time.”
