Five years of free E.ON solar power for buyers of the new Uniti One electric car

AI Summary

The Swedish automaker Uniti and energy provider E.ON have joined forces to revolutionize the urban electric mobility market. The electric car Uniti One, which was unveiled in December 2017, will be on the road for around 15,000 euros from 2019 in the basic version. The purchase price already includes free solar power from E.ON for five years and a mileage of up to 60,000 kilometers.

Starting next year, Uniti plans to produce 50,000 Model One vehicles per year in the Swedish city of Landskrona. More than 1,000 orders have already been placed. The range will be between 150 and 300 kilometers. Electricity for around 200 kilometers will be charged in just 30 minutes.

“Together with our partners, we develop new, innovative solutions to make the future of electric mobility as simple and convenient as possible for our customers. With a combination of innovative technology, low-cost purchase price and E.ON solar power for five years, our customers will find it easier than ever to get started in electric mobility,” says Frank Meyer, Senior Vice President Solution Business and Innovation at E.ON.

The Uniti concept includes not only a sustainable production chain, but also a climate-neutral operation of Model One. The E.ON electricity included in the purchase package therefore comes exclusively from photovoltaic systems.
