E.ON Wind Service is growing in the Swedish market for wind services. The company won a five year contract for operation and maintenance service for a Nordex wind farm with an installed capacity of 10 megawatts.
The site is located close to Gnosjö in the southern part of Sweden, owned by Gnosjö Energi AB. E.ON Wind Sweden will take over full responsibility for all operation and maintenance activities from January 2018.
E.ON has been providing wind services since 2015. Currently the business has a track record of managing long term contracts as well as performing short time jobs for various customers.
Apart from Sweden, E.ON Wind Service offers onshore and offshore wind turbine services in Germany, Italy, UK, and the US. The range of services includes maintenance and repair as well as the operation of wind farms. E.ON operates independently of the turbine manufacturers in this business area and can thus implement tailored solution that fits customer’s needs.
